Full Paper/Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Full papers have to be prepared in English as briefly as feasible. Authors who do not have native English skills are strongly advised to consult their peers. Reviewers or colleagues should be recommended for the full manuscript who will check and correct grammar based on their extensive experiences in written English. Manuscripts written using Microsoft Word must not be over 2 pages of 2 columns in A4 together with tables, figures, etc.

  • Text: Single line spacing of 11-point Times New Roman text on both sides (2 columns) of A4. The margins are 1 inch (2.54 cm) all around. Two pages of manuscript should be page numbered. The title, name of authors, addresses and so on in the first page should be the same as in the abstract format. The major parts of the manuscript include an introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments and list of references.
  • Tables: The tables should be set in one column in each page and should be presented in easy to reorganize format. Large tables which cannot be accommodated in each column are unacceptable. Tables should be placed closed to the text where they are mentioned.
  • Figures: The authors should prepare the figures in each column using medium memory size. It should be easy to re-format by the editor and should fit to page shape.
  • References Cited: Citations and references are cited chronologically in the manuscript by author and date and are not numbered. In case of two coauthors they are linked by 'and' ; for three or more authors, the first author’s name is followed by 'et al.'.
  • References: References at the end of manuscript should be listed alphabetically. Please see examples below to see the appropriate format.
  • Example:
    • Pimentel, D., P. Hepperly, J. Hanson, D. Douds, and R. Seidel. 2005. Environmental, energetic, and economic comparisons of organic and conventional farming systems. Journal of BioScience, 55 (7): 573-582.
    • Spally, M.R. and S.S. Morgan. 1989. Methods of Food Analysis. Elsevier, New York.
